Autumn wind

I saw old Autumn in the misty morn
Stand, shadowless like Silence, listening
To Silence.

Autumn came a little shy as if eavesdropping carefully through a barely open door.

Gently making is presence felt by slowly changing the leaves and having them cheer away from the trees. The crack of dawn every morning starts a bit later but the scarcity of light doesn't make me feel gloomy.

The wind shifts, the rain brings cool air and earthy scent. I find mushrooms growing in a community on the soggy soil. The flowers, berries and fruits of autumn show their colors in the muted greens.

The everlasting memory of the autumn’s essence and what makes this season so special is the way in which it affects all our five senses. It has been always my favorite. I love the emotional nature of it. It is poetry and nostalgia. It is a season of the soul.
